Spring is a terrific time to spruce things up around your apartment. To make spring cleaning seem less overwhelming, make a realistic checklist of what you hope to accomplish. Then, be sure you have enough cleaning supplies on hand and start washing winter away, one room at a time. It’s best to work from ceiling to baseboards, taking time to clean behind large pieces of furniture. Try using non-toxic cleaners like white distilled vinegar mixed with warm water (1:4 ratio) for grimy windows. Put on some rubber gloves and wash/dry with newspaper to make those windows sparkle.
